When writing a paper about yourself, don’t bend the truth, it makes it a lot harder to write about.

Just learned that first hand, yay C+ on my first English paper.

I’m Alex, one of the founders of this new blog and here is the start of my freshmen experience.

I will be attending University of Wisconsin Whitewater this fall. My roommate is a sports nut, and I am the stereotypical geek that plays World of Warcraft. He is not a jock, however. I plan on staying at Whitewater for 3 years studying Physics, then transferring to Wisconsin Madison to take advantage of the dual degree program to get two degrees in Physics and Engineering. It is nerve wracking when I log into my schedule/e-mail account on their website and to see Total Bill: $10,000 there already. I know I have the rest of my life to pay it off, but having a $50,000 debt when you are 23 years old does not sound fun.I leave August 31st and that is really late to start school, most colleges start around the 15th-20th, I feel like I am the only one still at home while everyone is off starting college.
